So - if you install VFP and your MyApp.exe on a Linux server, and 'push' the GUI to a Linux pc-terminal (or a dumb terminal) using WINE-X, every thing is okay?

The difference is the "royalty free" VFP runtimes and maybe the use of the Win Installer components being prohibited from use under non-Win OSes.
