Did you really mean to imply that VFP “steals away sales from SQL Server”? Perhaps the term “steals” is too strong.

An analogy using General Motors (yes I know analogies never really work): The Cadillac division feels that all GM sales should include only Cadillac’s. More profit is the reason. Yet people buy Saturn’s because of his/her needs and budget. Yet Cadillac feels that the Saturn sales “steal away sales”.

How many SQL Server sales are “lost to VFP”? How many VFP positions are there in the real world? What can be done to improve or make this condition worse? Just wait and see.

SQL Server will be around long after VFP is gone. That is just a guess on my part. :)
