thank you, i'll try to do what you told me.
Anyway I turned off the pc where the data were stored and now i can access the table again.
When I turned my pc off i got the warning message telling me that there were to user whit files open connected to the machine. What sound strange to me was that both of them were the same PC i.e. the PC where i was working.
