James,

I'm not sure what's happening. The Crystal Reports 9 components show up just fine in my VFP 7. Did you try to refresh the Type Library listing on the Type Library References dialog from the Intellisense Manager?

>Our current development projects use VFP 7.0 sp1. We also purchased CrysDev, Craig Berntson's book, on developing reports using VFP/Crystal Reports.
>
>Following the instructions in the book using VFP 7.0, I was having a difficult time getting the type libraries to show up in the Intellisense Type Library Reference Manager. I went to VB 6.0 and looked up the References and they showed as Craig shows for VFP in his book.
>
>I then made sure the dlls were registered using regsvr32. Still no luck in VFP 7.0 sp1. Then I installed VFP 8.0 and low and behold all of the Active X components show up just like in VB 6.0 and Craig's book.

>So, my question is, Does VFP 7.0 have a problem in Intellisense with the Crystal Reports 9.0 Dev ActiveX components (I can see the 8.5 components from VFP 7.0)?

>craxddrt9.dll
>crdesignerctrl9.dll
>keycode.dll
>crviewer9.dll

>This enables multiple version of Crystal to be run on a work station. So, as many of our users do, users who have version 8.5 or earlier can still use this functionality while accessing version 9.0.
