Thank you Ken.

How would one set things up so that different users download email to a common area whe all could review old email? Ideally, rules could be set about who can erase old email.

Is this the kind of thing that MS Exchange is for?

>You can have each user set up to open that same email account, but have them all set up to not delete what's on the server once the mail downloaded. This means everybody gets everything. This also means the server keeps all emails. Even then, sooner or later, someone whould have to clean up the accumulation on the server.
