Some of the problems I have with views is for instance the connection type. One needs to have the conection setup in the DBC. Might not so big problem if you launches a new application but with more than 200 customers using the app over networks and to setup the connections can be a huge support problem for starters. Secondly if think that views can not share the connection to SQL.

I am currently attending DevTeach in Montreal and accoording to most of the speakers, views is not the flavour of the month.

>Possible - maybe. I don't know too much about the Data Class data controller but, you would have to write your own data access class in Codemine to provide a link between the cursor object and the new data source ie., the Data Class data controller. Codemine provides data access classes for the usual things like tables, local views, remote views etc.,. However these all produce a real cursor. Data class, from memory provides a business object that you bind your controls to. I'm not sure how this would fit in with the Codemine methodology.
