They can. In fact if you look in the Codemine CDE builder, there is a setting there to share the connection via the connection manager.

As whether RV's are flavour of the months at DevTeach, well, it depends who you listen to. RV's have been doing a great job in many applications for years. In fact, they have been one of VFP's strong points. Now we have VFP8 and cursor adapaters, there is something else to think about. If you listen to Jim Duffy/Rod Paddock, then they would not advocate the use of RV's - period. However, they wont be upgrading Dataclass to use cursor adapters either, a more native technology.

Plenty of mainstream applications use RVs. Jim/Rod want to sell dataclass. I'm not saying they are wrong, its just their view (pardon the pun <s>).
