I am running Win2000 with the latest service packs. I am now able to duplicate this behavior somewhat. Open a prg file window and make it full screen. Now, size the window by dragging the lower right hand corner. Click on the maximize screen icon which is on in the upper right hand corner of the screen (for some reason it does not go with the program window). If I now click on that icon several times to make the window full screen and then smaller, it, the window, will eventually dock itself to the top menu bar and the windows minimize,maximize and close icons will disappear. This is what happens to me in my work, but I don't know what the sequence of events is leading up to it. It just seems to happen, perhaps more frequently with browse windows.
