I guess I am having trouble getting it. I have been reading threads from the the last year about accessing VFP data at other network locations from IIS. It appears that the ONLY way to accomplish that is with a VFP COM object registered with MTS? Is this true with any data? I do not want to involve an VFP mtdll object reference or MTS, I want to use UNC or relative mapping to access the VFP data using a ADO connection. This works as lonf as the data is on the IIS server. I want to use a different server for data. I need to maintain network security. Are there any answers???
