Take the network out of it... copy the file locally, index, and copy it back.

We are trying to index to an IDX file on a C(20) field and it takes anywhere from a few seconds to 43 minutes. When we watch the odometer (set at 100) it increments every 10 seconds. This is a sporadic issue. I, personally, have tried to index at 7:00am and it was very fast, whereas, I tried it again at 10:00am and it probably would have taken over 30 minutes.
