Hello Jacci,

We're in the initial stages of porting our VFP 7 app (built on VFP MM) to MM.NET and we're very impressed with it. Just the ease with which the UI is bound to business objects is worth the price of admission.

To be sure, there is still some work to be done before it's "finished" (hence the beta status), but I also seem to remember hearing tales of "live" apps using the framework as is. Maybe Kevin can attest to this.

I can also assure you it is most definitely _not_ a mere port of the VFP framework. Any resemblance is merely due to re-surfacing design patterns that apply in any language (separation of data classes from business objects, etc).

You didn't mention whether you've used VFP MM, but it's exceptionally well thought out and an excellent OOP learning tool (I cut my OOP teeth on MM 5). I haven't seen anything to make me think any less of MM.NET

I'm building a case for my new employer to incorporate it into our development environment. Their biggest fear is having to pay royalties since we are developing a verticle market app. I know you just have to purchase a license for each developer on the team. After that it is my understanding it is royalty-free.
