your problems with community comes because you try to prove that SQLServer is better data storage platform.
Yes it is better ENTERPRISE data storage platform.
Native DBFs have cost advantage for small firm application.
That is the reason all our applications to weork as well with DBFs as with MSDE & SQlServer. Everything depend on the case.
Our rules are
users documents
DBF less 5 less 500 doc/day
MSDE less 5 over 500 doc/day
DBF over 5 less 1500 doc/day
SQLServer over 5 over 1000 doc/day
