Hi Me,

I've made some progress on this but could still use some help..

I decided that the best approach would be to subclass the MS TreeView and override the relevant part of the rendering process. I thought over-riding AddAttributesToRender() would do the trick but it appears that the only attribute which is considered as such by the TreeView in this respect is the 'ID' (which I can successfully suppress). I can also use writer.AddAttribute() to add an attribute which will hi-jack, for instance, the 'oncheck'. But this is only because my 'oncheck' is written to the outputstream before the native 'oncheck'.

So my question now is how do I prevent the parent class rendering it's own script stuff (although admittedly this is really now only really a cosmetic issue)

Regards,
Viv
