We've just recently started migrating an application to VFP8 and noticed a problem with ActiveX controls in the development environment. If we go into a method that doesn't have any code, VFP automatically adds the LPARAMETERS and a comments line. Upon leaving the method without making any changes, VFP now stores these two lines and assumes that this method overrides any inherited base code. This seems to be a real problem since we don't want to override the base code when navigating between different methods in the control.

Has anyone else experience this problem and it there a fix or work around for it. VFP7 didn't have this problem.
