Look at the documentation for BindControls. When you set it to .T., the data will be bound to the controls.

According to the walkthrough, I need to set the form's BindControls property to False (.F.). However, running the form with this setting will display no data inside the grid. If I just leave the BindControls property to its default True (.T.), the data will be displayed inside the grid. I guess that instruction is supposed to be for the case retrieving data from XML.
