Hi John,

I not familiar with that tool. What flavor and version of Linux are you using. Are you accessing the NTFS from a single dual boot Windows/Linux, or are you mounting it across a lan/wan? What Window OS are you mounting; NTFS running NT4 or XP?

Everything I've read indicates that it is dangeous to mount an NTFS under Linux in a write mode. Most post I've read seem to indicate that it could result in damage to the NTFS file system. If anything happens to the NTFS, whether it was Linux's fault or not, I'm sure Micorsoft wouldn't hesitate to blame Linux for it.
