I'm using RH 8.0 and RH 9.0 and it installed without issue. I'm accessing WINNT 4.0 sbs server, Win2K, Win XP pro. Try the RPM - I have not seen any damage to anything. I have transferred thousands of files. I have a small LAN with WINNT 4.0 SBS and several workstations (all using NTFS) and the WINNT 4.0 SBS only installs with NTFS. The linux server is RH 9.0 with postgres, FTP etc.. and one SuSE 8.2 box I'm just setting up. Should I be concerned??? It seems that you have information that I don't. I have not attempted to access DBF's on the NT 4.0 from "wine VFP8" on the either of the Linux boxes. I'm not sure why I would want to do that.

Did you happen to read the post on using MSCOMM activeX on "wine VFP"? I haven't attempted that either. But I recall that I could not get an activeX grid to work. Your thoughts?
