We run FPD26 apps using Foxr on Windows 2000 and Windows XP now. Approximately 300 of our users are doing this. You should not have a problem. We typically run a profiler.bat file that is located in \profiler and contains:
c:\foxpro\foxr -cc:\foxpro\config.fp -t +x profiler
The app run is profiler.app. The only files in the user's foxpro directory are the FPD26 runtime files and their foxuser.dbf and their config.fp file. Are you remembering to use the +x switch?
We also set files=200 and buffers=40,8 in the config.nt (config.sys for Windows 95/98) file also.
>We have a very old program we're trying to run on XP or 2000 computers with the foxruntime file foxr.exe. Has anyone had any success doing this or is the runtime library too old? The programs do work by opening up foxpro 2.6 and launching it from the command prompt but that is not an option for my end users. Below is the command line for the shortcut. TIA.
