No, we weren't using the +X switch and with that switch the program loads fine. The batches we are using were set up a long time ago and I can't even find documentation for the loader switch we are using, I don't know what the -5 switch does or why it was put into the command line. Have you ever seen a numeric switch like this? The only switches I see for foxr.exe runtime in the DOS foxpro manuals I have are

+X Load extended version
-X Don't load extended version
