It's not a Pay Software Support site. In fact it IS a World Wide Developers Community -- enhanced by private, for-profit enterprise.
If Michel weren't charging money for the services -- and talent -- he's put into the project, it wouldn't even be close to the quality it is today.
What you're suggesting would have the eventual effect of putting the UT out of business, and none of us want that.
Do you happen to be familiar with the GNU open license concept? The fellow who came up with it (can't remember his name off the top of my head) wanted all software to be free for everyone, and for government to pay the programmers.
It sounds like you want Michel to do something similar :)
