In a WinForm, for any databound control (textbox, combobox, etc.), the value in the control is not "transferred" to the bound data column until after the user has Tabbed out of the field (or, simply, focus is placed elsewhere).

Does anyone have any ideas for how to easily overcome this problem? Yeah, you could always tell your users to tab out of a control after they make a change, but I'd like to find a fool-proof way of doing this programmatically so one doesn't have to rely on end-user competence <g>.
