I looked at this myself once. Over a year ago so maybe things have changed. Based on what you described, I suspect you have a Logitech one (Mine came with a 30 day trial to spotlife as well). I never did find any software to help with this, but what was fun to play with was Logitech's SDK off their web site. I came with sample VB code and I made a program that took at shot every so many seconds. However, it would only take bitmaps. I then had another program that converted it to a JPG. Thus the KennyCam was invented.

I got hit by a virus (shame on me) and it ended up killing what I had. You got me thinking I might have to play with that some more. Anyway, even if it's not what your asking for, you may find the kit fun and it is free.
