Thank you for your reply.

i will defenetly look into that sdk from logitech (you're right, i got a logitech webcam with that 30 day trail. i looked into that, but that is absolutly not what i want).

this sdk will probably point me in the right direction or at least let me do what you had setup (too bad about that virus).

thanks again for your help!

>>hi everybody
>>
>>i have bought me a webcam and would like to setup a streaming video on my website. through the program i got with the cam there was the possibility to setup an account at spotlife.com. but i realy don't like this option very much (plus i think after the 30 day trail they probibly charge you for their services).

>>so i am looking for a solution on how i can create my own site. is this possible at all? is there a place i can research on this, or can someone tell me how i can do this?

>I looked at this myself once. Over a year ago so maybe things have changed. Based on what you described, I suspect you have a Logitech one (Mine came with a 30 day trial to spotlife as well). I never did find any software to help with this, but what was fun to play with was Logitech's SDK off their web site. I came with sample VB code and I made a program that took at shot every so many seconds. However, it would only take bitmaps. I then had another program that converted it to a JPG. Thus the KennyCam was invented.
