Since a while, my Hewlett Packard ScanJet 6300C takes about five minutes to scan. It is obvious that since a specific time a conflict is now present which would cause such reaction. Basically, I put the paper in. Then, I press scan and I can hear it to start its first phase. Then, it waits for a few minutes. I hear again some progress. Then, I wait about two more minutes. Then, it starts scanning and it works. Could it be that since I installed the Dazzle reader that this would have been in effect? I'd say it's about the same timeframe.
