I assume both are connected via USB. I would not think they would conflict with each other, but you could try this to get more info:
Look at device manager for messages.
Also, shut down, power off, unplug the dazzle and power up. If that was the problem, but you worked OK now, that should prove it. I wouldn't think it would be necessary to unload the dazzle software.

Also, in device manager look at the "driver details". Do any of the drivers the scanner or USB ports say they are from Dazzle?

My dazzle does not conflict with my scanner, but my dazzle may be a different model and my scanner is visioneer. This is true with my original USB ports built in and with the USB2 card I added.

BTW - Last night on DVD I finally saw the James Bond invisible car you mentioned one time. That movie was great! If you know you James Bond trivia, there is also a lot of stuff in the background too that only a true fan would notice. You have the ability to turn on trivia notes that appears as subtitles, but I didn't do that last night. I bet there is even a whole lot more that I missed.

>Since a while, my Hewlett Packard ScanJet 6300C takes about five minutes to scan. It is obvious that since a specific time a conflict is now present which would cause such reaction. Basically, I put the paper in. Then, I press scan and I can hear it to start its first phase. Then, it waits for a few minutes. I hear again some progress. Then, I wait about two more minutes. Then, it starts scanning and it works. Could it be that since I installed the Dazzle reader that this would have been in effect? I'd say it's about the same timeframe.
