Thanks for the explanation.. Sounds familiar now..
I tried the suggested workaround but it just reprints the group header over top of each other..Is there any special values needed in the grouping properties?

>The workaround is to copy the objects from your detail into the group header. In the OnExit band for the group header, put a UDF call to a function that does a SKIP. This Skip prevents the same record from showing up in both columns 1 and 2 of row 1.
