>That is about the biggest non-answer that you could possibly give.

If you wish I completely ignore this thread, just say so. Your first message was written in a way to target us directly as if this was something we implemented in order to make your life more difficult and such. I answered your message even if it was not done in a productive way. My latest answer says that the default settings work for me. So, it is a suggesting that you reset everything to default. Fabian also proposed you install a brand new patch. That might help as well.

>You are the only one that knows what is required for your particular handling of session and cookie data and what would cause it to disappear when a spawned window is closed, that breaks what the launching window requires. You can see from the other post in this thread that I am not the only one having the problem. I'd like to get it fixed either on my side or your side so that I can productively answer questions here.

Well, I just read a message from Fabian that says you're the only one. Despite the fact that this is not a reason for me to ignore it, it goes against what you just said.

We don't do any magic here. We simply store a really simple session cookie in your browser's memory for as long as you remain on UT. As to know why it dissappears when you open a new window, I just don't know. Like I said, something external is causing that and that is something I just don't know as it's local. To open the list of possibilities larger, I would also consider any 3rd party tools that intercept the behavior of the browser to be a potential issue here such as Zone Alarm, Norton Security, etc. We name a few in our technical guidelines. Basically, anyone using such tool and who would enable most of those features will probably have difficulties to work on the Internet as it basically intercepts everything. So, that wouldn't surprise me that this could be a factor here. Do you have one of those installed? If not, I would go as suggested for an update and with the default settings. If yes, I would disable them, and see how it goes.
