Nope, never "batuquei" for Pagode. I'm averse to Pagode. Now, I can tell you that I already played "timba" and "pandeiro" with my dad when I was 9 years old or so, but that was Samba (the good old Samba), and not these stuff with all those guys dancing in sync every Sunday on the TV.

well, sorry... that's your opinion. Some years ago I was taking class for "music composition" with a classical teacher (graduated in Viena). He used to spend some time analyzing things that I showed him, like several heavy metal bands. You'd be surprised about his comments.

well, "poor" of mind, not of money. Go out there and find out how many wealthy people listen to those crap. And I know a lot of "poor" (money- wise) people, who have a very fine taste for music, ranging from Classical music to several sorts of Rock.

They don't touch a thing. Sound doesn't echo in the void. I don't believe that people who listen to these songs actually realize what the song means (meaningless songs is what they are).

Queen is one of the best bands EVER!!!! Do you know the song "Stone Cold Crazy"?? Well, that's almost a Heavy Metal, and Metallica has been playing that song several times. Hmmm, so, Queen has songs that can sound like Metallica? Well, yes! So, Queen is not good music? No way!
