How do you know when a user's lying? Their lips are moving. <g>
Seriously, I have had user's swear up and down that they did/did not do something. One time, I had to finally go on site and watch what they were doing. The problem they were having could only possibly occur if they pressed this one button on the screen, which they swear they never touched. Right while I was watching them, they pressed the button (and the problem occured), and I said "There, you just did it! You pressed the button!". Their reply was, "Oh, you mean THAT button." You had to be there. <g>
They really don't even realize they're "lying" to you, it's more like, leaving all the details out.
