It's a one time thing, but not only that, the user absolutely believes they entered the information, and is now saying they don't trust the system, sort it out otherwise I'm not using it. There's nothing wrong with the system, any data that gets written goes via the Audit-trail...
I can't say, "Sorry, the system is telling the truth, you've got it wrong", I may as well go and get my P45 first.
It doesn't leave much option really.
