Hi Craig,
I don't think I would be doing web hosting per sec, just hosting the app itself. The app would only be available to inter company people - 8 in all. Same would be true for Goldmine. Does that change anything?

>>Hi,
>>I'm new to web services and I'm planning on building a distributed app for asset tracking. We currently have a standalone Windows 2000 Pro machine. In order to host the app and allow real time operation across the web, do I need to change the O/S to a server version? I've seen that Web Connect needs to run on a 'server', but can I use Active Server Pages instead and would that allow me to bipass the server idea? I am planning on using Voodoo Controls but my client doesn't want to spend alot of money so I was hoping to avoid additional costs. I also want to use the machine for accounting and to host Goldmine. Any suggestions?
