I test on a PC P4 2.4Ghz DDR 333 and VFP8 is 17% slower of VFP7.

However, VFP8 you confirm my affermation:

VFP8 love AMD respect VFP7

??? for increment a variable VFP need to move more 512KB RAM ??

To me does not interest if P4 or AMD is faster.

I think the problem is on C++ 7.0 compiler.
