Trying to install VFP 8 on Windows 2000 SP2, getting an error during the installatino of the Setup Runtime Files (one of the Prerequisites). Here is a piece of the installation log:

Setup Runtime Files: c:\vfp8ins\wcu\RunProg.exe exited with return value 1603

Setup Runtime Files: Error code 1603 for this component means "Fatal error during installation."

Setup Runtime Files: ***ERRORLOG EVENT*** : Setup Failed on component Setup Runtime Files

Based on info in the Readme, I then proceeded to attempt to install VFP8 anyway, and it hangs almost immediately as it displays the "Loading installation components" dialog box.

Any ideas? I have previously successfully installed VFP8 on another computer, so I don't think I've skipped any necessary steps, and the machine in question already has VFP7 on it.
