i have been moving some of my applications to 8 and besides having to stick in that engineer behaviour thing which i don't like its all going well, but, and there always is a but, i could recreate this error first time. have you a service pack on vfp8 or just the ootb version?

I was able to duplicate this problem in VFP7 but not in VFP8. Time to upgrade? If you need to you can be careful to not use any of the new features in your applications, but take advantage of the development tools in VFP8 and then recompile in VFP7 for distribution.
