I was talking with somebody a few days ago about this. He made an excellent point in the sense that: The number of VB developers is (approx) 4 times larger than C developers. If all the VB developers were to switch to C# then all off a sudden the C# team would need to please 80% of users that have a completely different agenda (i.e. RAD) from the typical C# agenda (i.e. performance).
