The problem still exist but after adding CLEAR RESOURCES and CLEAR PROGRAM command at the end of my main.prg is less frequent.
Addidtionaly I make my app file through code using command build app ...
Before building I check if I can delete the app file. In this way hanging dissapeared.

It hangs quite randomly when I buid .exe ( I usually build .exe, but suspect the same problem exists for .app ) and after reading this thread just occured to me it might be due to my usage of VFP7 and VFP8 interchangeably for the same set of files.
