I prefer C# because I think that VB.Net is way too verbose, but think that at least knowing how to _read_ both is a good skill to have. Knowing the syntactical differences, I would agree with the notion that it really does become a personal preference. After reading a few .Net books and seeing the same basic examples over and over, the differences between the two are fairly transparent to me now.

I'm trying to remain open minded however, and if the VB guys can show me compelling reasons to use VB.Net, I will.
