Thanks for responding. This all started because I wanted to run a test Web Service [written in .NET] on a machine running XP Home. I read a post where you could get IIS to run on XP Home by messing with the registry, but I don't think I want to try that. It's too bad there's not another Web Server product that I can run on an XP Home machine that supports ASP.NET...this is the only reason for needing to get rid of XP Home.
I have all the recovery CDs, so I think I'll try a full install and take my chances.
