I am right at the beginning stages of this. My item file will be approx 3500 records and some quote files will be bigger than that. I will see how XML does. I am also concerned about the speed but won't know anything until I get in there with more data. I'm also considering CE Sql but I would really perfer to go the XML route for ease of web access.

The app written in Syware has tables with several thousand records and doesn't have any problem. So I assume if I'm forced into CE SQL, I won't have any problems.

We will just have to see

As I get this thing further down the path, I will post my results here.
