Each package/kit was going for $499 US (MS pricing). You could easily spend $1500 to get what you get in VFP now. And considering this was circa 1992, that $1500 was more like $2500+.

A few years later, I was picking up FPW 2.6 kits (no documentation), in the discount bins for $19.95 CDN.

A few more surfaced the other day when I volunteered at a computer recycling site.
