This change was done at their request. They all still have a sub-category in their MVP status with VFP and they are all still active in the VFP community (here on the UT, at VFP conferences, etc.). I think all four of them have been working with .NET technologies for at least two years now. What they are doing in the past month when the status changed isn't anything different from what they have been doing for over a year, so the only writing on the wall is your graffiti with your comment.

I don't know of any other MVPs will be switching at this time, but that is not to say others won't based on their goals. My understanding is that when these MVPs mention their new MVP title in their sessions at VFP conferences, they receive an applause. So I don't think most people view this as a negative thing, especially those who know them since they are not doing anything different than they already were before. Also, you shouldn't have to be reminded how to spell Cathi's name since you know her, Duffi. :)
