This will point you in the right direction. Once you've messed around with it for a day or two you'll find that it's really pretty simple to use. I was using VFP7 when I first started messing around with it, and since VFP7 has intellesense it was simple - I just created the wmencoder object, then from the command window typed in "wmencoder." and saw what the properties/events where. It wasn't till much later that I acutally decided to read the documentation for it...ha
