Acrobat Reader ships with an ActiveX control that is used inside of IE. It also works just fine outside of IE. However, I don't think you're allowed to distribute it w/o Reader (eg. the full version of Reader is required). In fact, Adobe doesn't even document the control (they don't want you using it). Once Reader is installed, it's easy enough to drop this ActiveX onto a form and load a PDF inside of VFP. It isn't particularly stable, though. If PDF handling is a big part of your app., I'd proceed with caution (it blows up a LOT under heavier loads).
I've looked at a bunch of third party readers, and honestly, none of them is as good as the normal Acrobat Reader. They all have serious problems rendering more complex PDF pages (text docs generally work just fine).
