Hi Tracy,

Since no CodeMine user has chimed in as of yet... I thought I would give my biased 2 cents worth. I have been using it for 19 months, and I evaluated MM and CodeMine before selecting CodeMine. At the time, I felt like MM would take me a little longer to get up to speed than CodeMine would have, as I was needing to get started in a hurry. I did work through both their manuals, examples, etc., etc.

I have not been disappointed with CodeMine.

CodeMine continues to release timely updates, and it gets better with each release... imo.

In your situation, since you are use to VFP and have used a framework in the past, I would think you would be up to speed using CodeMine in just a few days. CodeMine allows you to continue to use VFP as you normally would - and you decide which features to use, etc. One app I just finished used about 75% of the CodeMine framework, and the other 25% I plugged in from another source that wasn't based on any framework at all. It all integrated together with no problem. CodeMine could care less I did this.

To comment on some of the following you asked that I know about:

>Ability to easily switchout the data backend if necessary.

Yes

>Standard object oriented

Yes

>Capability to easily code 'behind the scenes' to make modifications to the framework if necessary (this was easily done in VFE by subclassing and referencing objects and behind the framework modifications were easily done)

Yes - this is definately a strong point of CodeMine - its setup has this setup for you when you start a project.

>Ability to incorporate non-framework generated forms (vanilla forms)

Yes

>Application and form load speed.

Yes - very fast.
