Sergey - deleted the foxuser.dbf. No help. Uninstalled VFP8 and reinstalled. Same problem exist. in that when I use the debugger and exit it, I get the error message about a VFP error do I want to send the error message to Microsoft etc and have to use the task manager to close out of it. I am running Windows XP.

One thing I noticed was that when I reinstalled the program, the environment manager of the task pane manager was the same as the first vfp8 install. I would have assumed you would started out with a clean task pane manager when you reinstalled

Any other ideas
