A few months ago you responded to another thread regarding combining local views of AccPac data and remote views to SQL 2000 data in the same DBC. I've run into a couple more problems with this arrangment and would appreciate your input. FWIW, this is a VFP 7 app.

Problem 1) Some forms can't find the AccPac data: Form 1 has an AccPac table plus others in its DE. This form works perfectly. It calls modal form 2 having a private DS using the same tables but Form 2 can't locate the AccPac table. If you manually locate that table, Form2 (and others like it) work fine for the remainder of the session. Each user has his own DBC containing the local and remote views which is located in the \\server\users\username directory. However, if I place a copy of that DBC in the \\server\app startup directory, the problem goes away. Under these circumstances though, all users are sharing a single copy of the DBC.

The obvious "simple" solution here is to let everyone share the same DBC. Is this a problem? There are about 60 users for the application and approximately half of them connect via Citrix. Is there another solution?

I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'm really tired of this issue.
