I tried setting a breakpoint on Alias() just before the report was called, but it did not change until after the report preview was closed. It still used the wrong cursor. Below in the code that immediately preceeds calling the report:

>>select curReport
>>index tag curReport on RType+ltrim(Str(lot))
>>go top
>>report form receiving to printer prompt preview noconsole

>How do you refer to your table fields in your report? As MyTable.MyField or as MyField only? Can you open the Data Session window while you are previewing the report (just to make sure, be on one of the middle lpages) and see what's in the current work area?

I use MyTable.MyField and have just looked at each field in the FRX to verify that.

Also, in debugging, I placed a textbox on the report that reports 'alias()'. The first time through it incorrectly displays 'tempSort', any subsequent report corectly displays 'curReport'.
