>>>No replacement exams have been announced. The turnout for the 70-155 and 70-156 exams was so light that the numbers just don't justify the expense and effort required to create new exams. In other words, the lack of new exams is largely due to the participation FoxPro community in the VFP6 exams.
>>>
>>>Please note that all Visual Studio 6 exams will retire - Visual FoxPro is not being singled out.
>>
>>May the main problem of this ixams was that VFP6 exams appears simultaneously with release of VFP7. It is not real people who work with new version to take exams for older one.
>>If Microsoft faster renew exams for VFP8, there will be demand of this exams et least for 2 years.
>>The problem is that there are not stability in offering of VFP exams, in difference for other languages.

As a taker of the VFP exam preceeding the VFP 6 exam, an exam now no longer valid, my question is when will the VFP 6.0 exam no longer count for anything in M$ exam hierarchy? After all VFP 8.0 is the current version and Europa is on its way. I agree that it makes no sense for a VFP 8 developer such as myself to seriously consider taking a VFP 6.0 exam, which soon no one will even be able to take. I suspect that we will never vben any VFP exams again. M$ is turning the niche language of FoxPro into a legacy language. Open source anyone!
