I havent used the west wind product yet, I know I should as it would be prudent business practice(always should know the competition) but as long as it supports authentication your app will work fine. Just a note though about spam. Turn on relaying but require authentication. Now spam is stopped. Also if it is behind a firewall, the only chance for spam through your server would be from applications on the same network. Would these employees be mailing spam?
