Thanks. I'll re-configure our exchange server and see what happens. No, the users won't be sending out spam....just reports/letters from our application.

>I havent used the west wind product yet, I know I should as it would be prudent business practice(always should know the competition) but as long as it supports authentication your app will work fine. Just a note though about spam. Turn on relaying but require authentication. Now spam is stopped. Also if it is behind a firewall, the only chance for spam through your server would be from applications on the same network. Would these employees be mailing spam?
